Command Desk: Terms of Use

Effective 2026-09-25. These terms are made between DDA Projects SIA, Latvia ("DDA Projects") and each person who installs or uses Command Desk. Contact: [email protected].

The app

Command Desk is a tool for keeping track of your own matters, deadlines and to-dos. It does not give legal, tax or other professional advice, and it does not replace your own calendar or docketing duties. You remain responsible for meeting your deadlines.

Licence

DDA Projects grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Command Desk on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and to the terms of the store you obtained it from. You may not resell the app, remove its notices, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this.

Your data and your keys

Your matters are encrypted on your device with a key derived from your passphrase. DDA Projects cannot see, recover or reset your passphrase or your data. If both your passphrase and your recovery code are lost, the data cannot be recovered. Keep the recovery code in a safe place and keep your own backups. How data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Command Desk Pro

Pro is sold through the app store as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock. The store processes the payment, and its terms govern billing, renewal and cancellation. A subscription renews automatically until it is cancelled in the store; after cancellation, Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the Refund Policy. A lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase of the Pro features for your store account.

Sync service

The sync service is provided with reasonable care, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Each device keeps a full local copy, so an outage does not remove your data. DDA Projects may change or end the sync service with reasonable prior notice in the app. If the service ends during a paid subscription period, the unused part of that period is refunded.

Acceptable use

The app and the sync server may not be used to break the law, to attack or overload the service, or to try to access another user's data.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under EU and Latvian law, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, DDA Projects is not liable for indirect loss, for missed deadlines, or for data lost because a passphrase and recovery code were lost, and its total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Command Desk in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The effective date above will change, and material changes will be announced in the app before they apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Latvian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and may bring a claim in the courts there.
